Dear Members, Supporters and Visitors
Our objective is to engage with the wider community and welcome all who wish to participate in and support the activities we run at the club.
We are ushering in new and exciting challenges for the ‘Green and Blues', with the construction of a new clubhouse completing in 2010 which reflects our ambition, whilst retaining the true spirit of rugby. The new facilities include a newly laid and levelled main pitch, a gymnasium available for all our members to use, bar and catering facilities that will deliver high quality food and drink to members and their guests and a Physiotherapy/medical facility to tend to sports injuries and provide ‘total' fitness support.
The coaching, mentoring, management and caring of our players and members is at the core of our success and we are fortunate to own our own grounds, coupled with the people who make up the club - the players, volunteers, supporters and visitors. In particular, I wish to draw attention to those who, with great enthusiasm, make the club the welcoming, friendly, fun and open place it is and in which to regularly socialise!
The instinctive values of sports people and supporters is what we hold dear - respect, fairness, commitment and honesty. Our club is for health, enjoyment, competition and building friendships.
Enjoy yourself at the club today. It is your club and it will provide you with what you want with your continued support, both as members and volunteers.
Simon Ford, Chairman ORRFC
